But there is a VERY quick way down if there is a lightning strike. Pretty amazing that the guy is just standing on top without holding onto anything. I'd be hanging on like a cat, even if I had the safety rope.

never been that high never will.
was up rigging at 12 stories and that's enough for me.
but like any rigging it ain't the fall ya gotta worry about. :o

I started shaking when he was on the anchor bolts, but could hardly watch when he reached the carriage bolts. What cracked me up was how he clamped on whenever he felt like it, which wasn't very often! This has to be the best tower dog video of all time. Just pray those storm clouds were heading away.

McBob- Is "scarecy cat" how folks Down Under say, "scaredy cat?" I would be one near the top of the extension ladder before reaching the first tower rung, if that's how these guys start up.
Please tell me about those pipes on your saws in the picture.
