mcculloch mc6 pistons
hello everyone ,i found enough parts to build an mc6 only one problem.. the piston i found has square wrist pin windows insted of oval .will it work ??..ive done few blind wrist pins on 91s but never messed with wrist pin bearings can they be pulled with the same tool i use on wrist pins ? thanks

Check the wrist pin to piston crown (top) dimension, or compare to another piston by running a wrist pin through both pistons to align them. That dimension varies on mac pistons, some will work and some will not.
You can get creative on the pulling bearings from pistons, but make sure you heat that piston up really good first ... 300F at least in the oven, then work quickly. You might have to make a pusher or puller piece that right diameter ... and it can take a lot of force to move them. Be careful, I have cracked pistons doing this.
