Early Model Mac Chainsaws

Post by Dennis Detweiler » Sat Nov 24, 2007 12:57 pm

Did early model McCulloch use the same blocks for their chainsaws and kart engines? If so, can the older saws be broken down and converted to kart engines by exchanging external parts? Thanks

Good question and i'm sure some have done just that maybe the old D-44 which has the removeable head and a few others like the Mac 15 fixed head which is very similier to the Mc 49.
I wouldn't mind knowing what you fellas use to build a lookalike engine.

Mc Bob.
