Re: Mc10 Heaven
Hi Tom Smith,
WOW is an understatement.
so many mc10's it makes my head spin!!!
and i don't believe there's another set of mc10 carby's like that anywhere else in the world!!
a million questions come to my head but i'll only ask a couple if you have the time to answer that'd be great.
are they all stamped mc10's or are some clones off saws? ie 1-70 or 1-80 maybe a s55a?
why are some apart?
is that just the mc10's you have or all your motors?
cause if you have more PLEASE post some pix as i love to see the collections everyone has built.

Re: Mc10 Heaven
David, some are stamped Mc-10 and some are stamped M-10 while others are not stamped anything which I understand is either a 1-70/1-80 service block and or dare I say this (?) a block stolen from McCulloch! I've sort of lost track of what I'm doing with them exactly. Yeah I have some more Mc-10s, here's a beauty for now.
Scott's look almost as good as this NOS one does except he didn't put grommets on the plug and kill switch wires on his and then paint them yellow like McCulloch did originally. McCulloch did a pretty shitty job of masking off the Mc-10 tags too.

Re: Mc10 Heaven
WOW again,
that a real beauty.
was it mine though i'd spoil the n.o.s. part right quick.
i know that's a sin but i think they were made to RUN not be pretty art.
though as stuff on a shelf i prefer that to little statues or what not.
Scott skipped the grommets because the guy who sent the parts isn't that organized.
and just try to get Scott to over-spray an engine, it won't happen.
anyway i enjoy seeing "what ya got " pix.
maybe at some point when i get organized i'll take a few pix too!!!
we should get a section on one of the forums for exactly that thing.
it is easier for the owner to write about his personal stuff than cataloging everything.
that way newbe's can see what's what and the potential that their rat kart can be.
just a random thought.
