Ryan, you did good! This is a piece of kart history. Look in the parts/resources tab on the left of the home page. Several places including K&P Manufacturing (Bug) sell the Cheng Shin hard compound tires and tubes that will be perfect on the Dart. You may also talk to Azusa Engineering. They make and sell lots of parts for vintage.If the steel wheels are salvagable, you can have them media blasted after disassembly, and it's perfectly permissible to prime and spray paint them with a rattle can. If they must be replaced, advertise here on REAR for a set of DICO wheels. They were high quality industrial wheels that were used by several manufacturers in the olden days. TAKE YOUR TIME and don't get impatient! The old parts are out there; sometimes it takes a while to find them. That Dart painted up and with fresh upholstery and a 580 West Bend will be a great piece to show off (and to ride). Just about any car upholstery shop can make the Dart's simple flat pads and add beading around the edges. Look for photos. Good luck! Ted

the wheels are in very good shape all are salvageable need to get some new bolts and nuts for the wheels also need a new bolt and nut for the brake pedal to mount it to the frame. but yea i am goigng to have the frame sand blasted by a friend but is there anything i can do to straighten out the floor pan?its beeen warped pretty bad the years werent kind to it and lastly i do plan to use that brake steup for pure orginality i dont plan on doing any overly fast racing so im only going to run one engine which will probably be a 580 westbend and do u know of any highly reliable reasources to get a good running used one?thx for the help guys
