Re: new web site about playdays
This is such a neat idea, I just wish that there were a couple of tracks close to me in South Florida, I would be going in a heart beat.

Hey Dean
Great start to what will be a great site.
And yes that is my 1961 Hovey Hawk w/ the Disston DA-211 on board.
Not much hp but fun to drive.
That was the last ride with the Disston.
Swapped it out and got a Parilla BA13
Can't wait for the Turkey Trott.
Ready to get back in the kart.

Okay,,, Thanks for the Disston info...
What is the engine on this kart? It's the kart above the little boys head, or to the left of the man in the red jacket.

That is also a Disston- only with custom shrouds and wrinkle black paint.

No,,, I don't wanna buy a Disston.. I guess I was just Disston ignorant... LOL
BTW... I'm not in the "circle" that regularly attend vintage events,,, so I have to ask , where is this Turkey trot event held? I doubt I'm the only one who doesn't know these things. I don't recall the website specifying where it was at. If it did and I missed it, I apologize.
