Victor,

What do you need done? I know several good fabricators and do some myself.
Give me some details and I'll point you in the right direction.

Steve,
I have a 61 kool kart and I' have trailing linkage, and I should have leading linkage. I should have one tie rod connecting the two spindles and one tie rod come off the right spindle and connect to the steering shaft. My pedals are forward of the tie rods. Could it be possible to make it leading linkage without moving the axle forward and relocating the pedals.? Thanks. Victor.

Victor,

Should be easy but hard to say for sure without seeing pictures. If you can post some or email them to me so I can see what you have now. Also, if you have any pics of the original configuration send them too.

Lots of times spindles were swiched from side to side to move the steering arm forward or twards the back.

Victor,

From the looks of the pictures the kart has no kingpin inclination so the spindles can probably be swapped side to side as mentioned by Rob. Then it is a simple case of getting a long piece of bar stock to make a full length tie rod that goes from spindle to spindle and using one of the existing tie rods for the steering shaft to spindle link. The steering shaft will have to be modified to remove the exisiting contact points and a new clevis fabricated and welded to the end of the shaft... not a big deal.
Once you put the steering out there the pedals have to be brought back to the original position... do you have any pictures of an original showing the pedal details? One observation.... it looks like it would be impossible to drive with the seat in that position and the front end reconfigured unless you are 4 feet tall.
