Power Products 1000?

Post by Jacob Jay » Wed Jun 03, 2009 4:42 pm

Hi guys-

Does anyone know the bore and stroke on the PP1000? I tried searching through the archives but the search feature 'ignores' the operators 'power' and '1000'.

Were these engines good for anything? The one I have looks like it originally came on an air compressor. Thanks!

Jacob, 1 1/2 inch bore, 1 3/8 inch stroke, 2.43 cubic inches. Rated at 1 HP, operating speed 2700 to 3800 rpm, built 1952 - 1956, they were used on mowers, bicycles etc.
