Gearing for Bakersfield / dual Mc101s

Post by philrock » Mon May 25, 2009 10:24 am

I'll be at the Bakersfield event this coming weekend with my Hartman with dual Mc101s. I have not been on this track before with this setup, and I was hoping to get some suggestions on gearing. I weigh 210 lbs. , I'm running alky, and using 10 tooth DXL clutches.

You might have some trouble using those DXL clutches at Bakersfield. Better check first.

Mike says DXLs are no problem. Suggestions on gearing would be greatly appreciated.

Phil,

Start with something like a 62 on the axle sprockets and you'll be in good shape.
