Re: MAC Model # ??
Lets start with West Bend 510, 580 or 700. many of the 4 digit models were small displ. used on various power equipment
5.1ci, 5.8 ci or 7.0 cubic inch
recoil style indicates a late production.
PTO taper is useless, rendering this motor as part machine if its intent is for vintage karting.
Gentlemen, fill in the blanks here for me.

There is some good parts there minus the crankshaft as Mark said.
Someone could use this engine.

Take off the exhaust. If the bore is chrome it's a 700.

A reminder of what I posted years ago about the ribbed crankcase blocks.
It was said that they were aluminum/chrome bores, which I found to be inaccurate, as I had one here and it was definitely a cast iron liner block.
I would have to assume it’s a 5.1 cubic inch block until otherwise determined.

If any of you have a use for this mystery motor, you can have it for FREE. Just pay the shipping. I don't think I have the knowledge to deal with it.

That very gracious, I'm sure someone will take you up on your offer. Remember to remove carburetor, exhaust and spark plug and some kind of sleeve over the crank to keep it from coming thorough the box. I use lint roller cardboard tubes for that.
