Glad to see you made it home safe and sound Ted. Maybe you can talk Ron and Sue into driving next year and you can all come together. Would like to see you as a complete crew.

Thanks, Mike. I decided to drive thru from Liberal, KS instead of stopping the one more night. I was tired, but feel better this morning. I want that video of the Hedstrom! That was really neat to see what would've thrilled a kid in 1954! I'll unload the kart this morning and get the U Haul back a day early. The trip with Big Al was a HOOT! What a great guy he is. See ya next year, God willing. Ted

Hi Mike,

Thanks. Also, I just found the pictures last night you sent sometime back in my computer. One was showing the Hedstrom decal on the frame.

Great picture taken of Autumn Nagel driving the Speed Mobile. I think it is ironic that Autumn's kart I've seen her usually pictured with is a 1963-65 Dart remarkably similar looking to the kart I raced. I guess her next kart will be a 2008 Energy Kinetic / 125cc TaG. lol.
