How about some current pictures of the Cates, Ron?....... Here's an old one. I sold it to Ron with a stock metal fan cover, instead of the black plastic shown in the picture.

*** Thought about going duel Mac 6's, but a Hands sprocket hub never came up for sale. Had an extra motor mount made.

Dominic,
I haven't changed a thing to it except I bought several Mac6 and several Mac5 engines. Can't decide to leave it a single (like the one I drove back in the day) or change it to a double. I am going to build a modified Mac10 as I ad two separate engine back in the day. Love the Cates Kart.

Dominic,

Your karts are Gorgeous!

I think I figured it out!! Couldn't figure out how you put fuel into the Enduro side tanks until I saw your next to last picture.......Are you using the Chilton tank on the rear of the seat to fill all 3 tanks simultaneously? That's pretty ingenious! Just wondering if you have tried this set-up and if there are any venting issues?

Hope you can make it to a vintage enduro event in 2014......I'm going to try and do the same!

Best Regards.....and Happy Thanksgiving!

Terry

Enzo, say's most guy's added pop-up's, fueled faster. I can't imagine re-fueling after running seven gallons through a single engine bent leg kart. I was lucky to get it unmolested.

If you fellows plan on running your enduro karts you better check with the powers that run or promote the event regarding if your karts brake system is up to snuff.

Over in Ohio and in Georgia I have run enduro karts with drum brakes and single disk brake systems but those brake systems are no longer allowed on the track in Ohio.

I know of that rule. Duel calipers off two separate reservoirs on the same disc could be done without welding to the frame, I think.
