stolen karting equipment

Post by l brown » Mon Aug 06, 2012 11:06 pm

On august 3, 2012 unknown persons stole from my shop the following items. 2 almost new Coleman mini gear reduction starters, one LH and one RH, set up with deep 5/8 sockets for use as plug on starters for flwheel side starting. Along with those, a beautiful Mac 101 B that I built wiht all new parts inside, .020 bore, and a custom one of a kind steel megaphone with a machined reverse cone attached. I had only run it once so it was barely broken in. Had a support bracket from the steel body to the cylinder head. Specially built to fit on a Margay gearbox application which requires a very tight radius to clear the gearbox. Engine block had no serial number, and was all chrome shrouds, but fan shroud was painted over the McCulloch yellow.

Would be grateful to anyone who might see it advertised for sale, maybe on craigs list, etc. and can contact me. I am located in Tucson Az.

Larry, that really sucks. I know Ron and I will be on the hard lookout for the stuff around here. For anybody who doesn't know Larry, his workmanship is so perfect that it is easy to spot. That exhaust stack is one of a kind, and LOUD! It really stands out in the crowd. TJ
