Does anyone have rings for a PP h81. Mine is a converted chainsaw motor with the thicker rings. It is standard bore of 2.5" same as AH82. Rings are .059 thick. Also, would be interested in thin ring piston and rings. Who is the Power Products go to person?
I also need advice on cylinder to case gasket. I have three different thickness gaskets. Can I use a thin gasket and up the compression so long as nothing hits? Will it have a noticeable effect on piston timing? I am putting a "Dicks" Pyramid reed manifold and scalloping the piston top. Isn't it amazing how every one and his brother were making speed equipment for the early go kart engines. I love it.....
Thanks,
Scott

Look under "Parts & Resourses at the top of the this forum. Bobby Muha has what you need for your PP. As far as gaskets you always need to check the clearance between the head & piston. I use soft solder, turn the motor over by hand & measure it.

Hank (Henry) Rotroff. He's a prince of a fellow, and his PP-82's run like rockets. He's a REAR member, so PM him. Ted
