Steve, it's a Simplex. Sorry I don't know enough about Simplex to tell you which model it is. Ted

I'm not sure it's 100% a Simplex.... if it is it's a 59/60 dead axle...... but the seat don't look right to me. Much better pictures would help.

Rob, if you click on the photobucket link, double click on the image, you can get a bigger pics. You can zoom up if you want to from there also.

from what I see on the Simplex brochure, it must be a Mk I or II. It looks complete, adult wants $45 bucks for it. looks straight. If he still has it when i drive through his area next weekend, i'll probably pick it up.

I'm not into these so I'll probably pass it on to someone else, but I don't want it to end up with a kid putting a garden tractor engine or something on it. know what i mean?

1960 or 1961 Simplex MK I......with a few "additions". 1959 had a small, half-moon shaped front bumper and non-ackerman steering.

Thanks guys, I texted this gentleman that if he still has it this weekend, I'd pick it up from him when I pass through Nashville next Monday, he said "sounds good to me". So we'll see. I've never been real excited about the Simplex, but I know some of you guys like them and this one's too nice for some butcher to get hold of. I may consider passing it on to one of you guys or you never know, I might just put it in service myself. Problem is, all I have are mac engines. This one needs a Clinton, WB or PP .....Ron
