There are a lot of different Rupp models. If any Rupp frame will do I have a '63 Rupp Grand Prix frame I don't need collecting dust in my attic. I also have a line on an original rear engine Bug kart in California I may be able to obtain if a friend doesn't want it. It sounds like it's a 70's Bug Sprint.

Dominic,

I appreciate the link. I've dealt with this guy, even bought a kart from him, but he has an attitude that will keep me from buying another kart from him.

Buyer beware.

Chris, All I can tell you about this color is it's a Du Pont Chromabase mix that matches the dark metallic blue Rupp used. I don't think it's a specific car color. I did save the tinting guide which uses 8 ingredients including both course and medium fine aluminum. Tom

The person looking for a frame isn't interested in this particular one. He wants an A-Bone frame with a front bumper. Oh well.
If anybody is interested in this one it's a brand new 4130 chrome molly frame and has never been run. It was built to replace the frame from another Grand Prix Jim Rose ran in a street race that sagged from the beating it endured.

Robert Stanton of RobRon at 800-624-7383 might be a good place to start, he has the Dart dies/fixtures. I have bought parts from him for some of my Dart re-builds. He is listed in "parts/resources" at the REAR site with pics. Tom
