WTB Vintage Go Kart Mcculloch Or Rupp

Post by Steve Suppa » Wed Aug 10, 2011 3:41 pm

Looking to buy a vintage go kart. I prefer a Mcculloch, but would also consider a Rupp, King Kart, or maybe something else. I'm open to almost brands at this point. I can pick up at TBO in Sept. Let me know what you have with pictures. Email me direct sdsuppa@sbcglobal.net
Thanks!

Hi Steve,
Look a couple threads down right on this site. Steve Kneisel has a beautiful R1 for sale VERY reasonably.
There was a blue F1 on ebay that was starting at $900. wrong tank , needed work ect. I would guess at his price Steve is losing money.. hobby not investment...hobby not investment lol

Hey Gents!

Somebody please help out Steve and sell him a real nice kart. Steve is new to vintage karting. He is easy to deal with and almost bought my McCulloch kart but backed out because he wanted to buy a kart that was closer to home than Florida. He is in Ohio and plans to attend TBO. Everyone show Steve what a great group the vintage kart guys are.

Steve, I saw a McCulloch kart for sale on the karting.4cycle.com site. You will need to register for the site. Go to the free classifieds, see the post called "1960's McCulloch Kart (needs restored)". West Virginia is alot closer to Ohio.

Here is the guy's description:

1960's McCulloch Kart (needs restored)

I have a red 1960"s McCulloch That I am taking offers on, it is rough. It has the original tires and wheels, frames is ok , floor pan is very rough, only thing that is not original is the engine ( it has a flathead) I have some extra heim joints for it, not much to it, but it would be cool if restored. IT MUST BE PICKED UP, I live in West Virginia. PM me if interested.
Make an OFFER
Thanks
Alan

Hey Steve, meet Kevin. Kevin, meet Steve. Steve, Kevin is the guy that bought the McCulloch kart from me after you changed your mind about buying it. Both you gents are great to deal with. Thanks for your interest in the kart. Kevin, thanks for buying it. When you get it on the track, drive a few laps for me!

Steve, I hope you can get a kart soon. If you buy the McCulloch kart in the above description, just send me a Paypal payment as my broker fee LOL!

Kind Regards, Joe

I don't think you can beat Scotts Mac kart. If that's what he wants it's the best deal around.

Steve, I have to second Rob's and Kevin's idea. Scott Kneisel's twin Mc20 McCulloch kart is as good as it gets, and Scott is as nice a gentleman as you'll ever deal with. Ted
