Very Sad News

Post by REAR » Fri Jan 10, 2025 5:58 pm

Just got word that Al 'Torque' Klusman has passed on.

Al together with his traveling partner Jack Cannaday out of Missouri were long time supporters of historical karting and a staple at THE BIG ONE for many years till their health took a turn.

Both Al and Jack could always be found under the tree by the coolers at TBO offering up many of their stories and mechanical expertise that they both brought from their experiences during the early days of karting.

Al will be missed by many but his kind smile and his willingness to share his knowledge and friendship will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of meeting him.

R.I.P.....Torque.

Al 'Torque' Klusman was one of the nicest people you could meet at The Big One .. him and Jack always had extra chairs out for people to sit in and chat about our karts. Sat there many a time, with a drink from the coolers. I learned alot talking to Al and Jack, and listened to many great stories. Al will be missed.
