my son started a 3D printing business .. I convinced him to make some limited runs of vintage kart engine models .. a series, starting with a 1/2 scale model of the McCulloch MC91 engine. This is a model kit that you assemble, like a real engine. Each kit takes 40 hours of 3D Printing machine time, and 3 hours of detailed hand finishing work .. many threaded tapped holes, very realistic, but not cheap to make.
