Mcculloch Pistons and Machine Work

Post by Charles Veres » Tue Feb 24, 2015 11:04 am

I purchased a MC 101 on ebay with no history. I am happy to say its bore is 2.280 std but lightly scored and rings stuck. I will need piston and ring. with such small cuts .010 .020 etc. I assume its best to send it to a shop that can cut and supply the min oversize piston. I see a number of people in the suppliers section but some look a bit dated. Where should I send the block and recip assembly to these days for inspection bore and supply of parts bearings and seals. Its a 101aa. I also need a mount.

Thanks to Paul Booth who replied to my Mikuni parts request. He is sending me rebuild parts and a new high speed needle! Very reasonable and great communication.

Charles,

Why don't you ask Paul Booth. Hes a pretty resourceful young man and he may be able to get you fixed up.

John Copeland at Foxvalley Kart shop might be able to help you also.

Check you Private messages again also.
