Just got off the phone with Mike Guffey in Hartford City IN. He agreed to sell me a rough Go Kart 400. I was to pick it up this morning while on Christmas vacation. Kitzi ran into some medical issues yesterday so I called Mike to let him know I would miss the pick up but would arrange for someone to get it for me. He said he might have a local buyer which I found troubling. My local contact called him this morning before the scheduled pick up time only to be informed the kart was sold to someone else. This guy is Bad News... I had heard form other Vintage Karters who had visited his shop that he was a piece of work... I should have listened...
