WTB Rear Nylites..

I know, I know, but it's worth trying. I'd be willing to pay up to $100 for a nice set of rears..

lol. is that a question? I saw a set of 4 go for $175 a couple of weeks ago, and have been in contact with a guy who knew of a set of 4 for $300. We both agreed that was a little bit steep. So , do you know of a set of good rears at a reasonable price?

Nice is a relative term, but really nice ones are pretty rare. Most are yellowed at the very least. Usually they are cracked or broken and even if there are no visable cracks they are most like too brittle to risk runing. Someone had a post a while back about boiling them to releive the stress and return pliability. You might get runners for $100 a piece but show quality pristine rims I'm guessing would be at least twice that.

That's the "I know, I know" part. The kart had "nice" fronts and I just wanted to keep with the tradition. I don't intend to run it that hard and I'd like it to show reasonably. I'd entertain anything..
