Re: WB 580 Chain Guard
Sterling, I usually modify one of Vince Hughes reproduction GEM Mac chain guards for my purposes. $29 plus shipping, unpolished. There's a lot of "meat" on the back flange to cut away, drill, Etc. Ted

Sterling,
Vince's stuff is top notch as is he. He will polish or chrome the guard for you for a reasonable cost.

Kevin is right. Vince really provides great services to the vintage karters, and we should support him. TJ

Ted and Kevin - I have delt with Vince before. He's jamb-up as you say. Ted, that's an idea I"ll take into consideration if something else doesn't come along. I'm in no big hurry. Thanks as always. Sterling

Re: WB 580 Chain Guard
I make his Mac chain guards fit the steel side mount plate on the 610's by coping the back flange to suit, drilling and countersinking and mounting to the side plate with 1/4-20 flat socket head screws. Works great. They take a good polish, too.
Vince is always a good source. Besides the chain guards, he has several different engine mounts as well as other pieces. You can't call him right now, because he's off at Bonneville for a couple weeks. TJ
