Trying to learn more about the older McCulloch racing engines. Did the Mc6 come with straight shaft or tapered? Thanks.

Re: Mc6
Robert, the Mc6 crank is one of the rarest Mac cranks. The engines that came with straight cranks were the Horstman 91MC's, the 101MC's and the 101D's. There were probably more, but these are the important ones. All the true McCulloch releases for karts had the tapered crank. Ted

Robert, forgot to mention the McBob site: http://macbobaust.com/mac_karts.html
This site has a lot of info about Macs, early karts and even other engines, not to mention saws. Ted
