i'll be using the vka promoter option for the rules which will be a lettle bit different from the normal vka event.
hopefully i won't be savaged too badly in my meandering off the normal vka vintage kart event path!!!
i had hoped for columbus day weekend but we are getting the weekend before.
about the same as 2011.

Dave,
Actually, we have you INKED in for the Oct. 6-7 weekend.
In fact, we thought you guys wanted to come in earlier, so we have the 4th and 5th blocked off for you as well.
That is not a problem, however. We can just open the track up for "Open Practice" those days.
However, if we have vintage karters who want to come in early we are all open arms and would make sure they get plenty of track time.
The 6th and 7th is going to be ALL VINTAGE KARTS.
You will NOT have to share track time or scheduling with any other groups.
We expect your group to organize your classes and run by your rules.
We, of course, will supply track personnel, timing, etc. Our cafe and service shop will also be open for your convenience.
This a big event for us as well you guys, and we will do what we need to do to accommodate you.
In case you are not aware 2012 is OVRP's 50thanniversary, and we want you to be a big part of our celebration.
I have the schedule for 2012 all assembled, and I am presently putting it into a format to be posted on our website, ovrp.com.
Should be available on line laster this week or early next.
A couple of VKA magazine would help us promote the event at this end.
