Motor Mount ID

Post by Tom Luttenbacher » Tue Jun 29, 2010 5:26 pm

Hello, can someone give me the bolt pattern in inches or send/post a picture of a Homelite? I have a motor mount that matches the PP 58 bolt spread but it puts the motor at the wrong angle. I'm wondering if the Homelite is identical but the bolt holes are at a different position that when mounted on my mount would put it at a similar angle as the Mc mounts. Thanks. Tom

Hi Tom,
I have a 1960 Homelite Spitfire with twin K92 engines on it. I will try to take a photo, and some measurements for you tomorrow.

We look forward to seeing you, and everyone at TBO!

Hello John, thanks for the offer but I found an old kart mag with a picture of the mount on the kart with an AH58 and sure enough the motor sets at an angle with the carb down so I have the info I was seeking. Thanks. Tom
