Rupp Uni-mount Measurement:

Post by Merv Cary » Tue Jan 19, 2010 11:36 am

Can someone tell me the length of the tube that the axle goes thru with the bearings in it and a couple more . I am going to attempt to make my own mounts as this are pretty expensive. I numbered the mearurement that I need so it will be easy to list. OOP'S, I forgot to list the side plate mounting bolt locations.

Thanks,
Merv"

Merv, I'll try to post again, the first failed I see. If I were building the mount this is what I would do; #1 see #4, #2, see #6, #3, 4 inches?, #4 measure the mount on a Dart Kart where the swing mount fastens, it's on the frame cross tube, #5 1/4 minimum possibly 3/8ths for the heavy then go to 3/16ths, #6, Get an engine side plate that Vince Hughes sells to locate bolts holes and also give you clear width for #3, #7, 1/2 inch. Hope that helps. Tom
