Some of the auto dealers in my home town of Melbourne, Florida, had Q.M.'s built in the early fifties and had a track built out by the airport. They had a league that lasted a few years. I got to drive one a couple of times in about '53, but our family lived too far out of town for me to be able to get to the track regularly. We later used the track for karts from about '59 through '61. Part of the track is still visible as a corporate drive for a business at the airport. I bet people wonder why their driveway is shaped that way! I really learned to hate the Continental engine! TJ

Looking at that video it goes to show that track or road rage has been around a lot longer than most remember ............... especially on the corners.
