Project 4CycleX, Kart I.D. please

Ok guys, heres a stumper for you, Yesterday i spent a few hours bringing in what is an odd unknown old race kart, It has rack & Pinion steering, and i almost threw it away because i was told it was a yard kart, But me, Mike Clements and a few of my freinds from 4cycle.com have decided that i should restore it. And we named it Project 4cycle X, But Mike forwarded these pics to all his vintage kart buddies and got nothing, So here it goes, and remember the tires/wheels,the pedals, and some other stuff may not be original

Theres my photobucket, and if any1 has some tires/wheels that would look good on the kart im interested, not looking to spend an arm and a legg, but will this thing be worth anything after i restore it? If so some1 get me in the ballpark
