After looking at your kart again, it might be a 1964. The panel in front of the seat is different than mine. Yours has a tube across the top of the panel and a single piece of sheet metal welded to the seat and tube. The earlier Bantams had a sheet metal "tent" style panel welded to the hip panels and the floor panels. Also, the rear bumper on yours is the same size as the main frame rails. The earlier chassis rear bumper is 3/4" and welded into the inside the 1" tubing.

Thank you Rick for nailing this one down, I never did find the rear brake ass'y mfg'er, but its reasonably evident that isnt necessary at this point. I found the kart in Springville N Y, about a half hour south of Buffalo. It had a 3 hp B&S on it which I quickly unloaded. I'm an hour south of Buffalo between Olean and Jamestown , N. Y.
One thing I thought to be strange was that it has an aluminum rear axle. And its seems to be straight. What was the prevalent engine for this kart?
