Mc10 Heaven

Post by Scott Kneisel » Fri Oct 08, 2010 8:40 am

OK, I couldn't resist posting these pictures. I just finished up a couple Mc10 projects and here are the results. 8 rebuilt Mc10's and Mc10 clones ready to run, all beauties.
Enjoy, I'm gonna miss them when they are gone, BooHoo..............

Scott,

Great job on the engines; I'm not sure what he's going to do with all of them but I guess we'll find out eventually.

Hi Terry,
It depends on the engines. The ones with the polished flatbacks are regular small Mac flatback carbs sitting on stock manifolds, one engine has a Tilly HL304 with an Mc45 manifold and GoPower reed and the rest have Tilly 19D's converted to kart type carbs sitting on stock manifolds. All the carbs have been rebuilt.
Two of these are mine, two go to one person and 4 go to another person...wink!
I expect some of these will be for sale in the future but I can't say for sure.

Hi Scott,

why wouldn't you post those pix.
as fine a pile-o-mc10's as i'm likely to see.
i wonder who would figure on needing 4 mc10's?

anyway i was on the right track asking a million questions about making saws into kart motors.
the saws are alot more common than kart motors too!
and thanks to Scott we can see what a little extra effort can produce.
as per usual Scott outstanding work.
so you can make pretty kart motors from mcculloch saws.

Dave 8-)

p.s. with one guy owning that many i'm betting a couple might be for sale.
