Skinny front tires
I have not found them in this country yet, but both Dunlop & Bridgestone make a skinny front tire for the Jr. classes in Europe & Aisia.
The size designation is 10x360x5
Dunlop SL-J / SL83
Looks real close to the old skinny front tires from yesteryear.......
Is anybody close to a Dunlop or Bridgestone distributor to see how hard it would be to bring any of these in ?

Cheng Chin narrow fronts. Some list as 2" and some list as 2 1/2" wide.

Re: Skinny front tires
I was looking for more of a performance tire, than one with lawnmower rubber,
and there is something that just erks me about a tire with a name like 'Cheng Chin' going on my Margay.
I guess I will just bring a set in from across the pond.

Did you know that Cheng Chin is a world renound tire company. Did you also know that they are the makers of Maxxis racing tires. Hardly lawn mower rubber.

Re: Skinny front tires
They are the same tire as the Carlisle narrow front. There are also narrow front Carlisle tires around that came out of the old mold but have a "not for highway use or tube type" in a small circle on the sidewall. It's been a few years sense I've found any of them.

Re: Skinny front tires
Vintage Speed has a tire that is 10x3.60x5, it has the narrow 3" tread and a 65D hard compound.
They also have various width rears, all vintage hard compound. Perfect for vintage karts.
Not sure if they are made in USA, you would have to ask Gus.

Thanks Scott, I checked out Gus's site.
His tires look interresting, I'll give them a try.

Chein Shein tires are just about round enough for wheel barrels.
