Well fellas the Mac gods must really hate me as yesterday afternoon i went to move my Copperhead hotsaw from where it was sitting on the workshop floor and i noticed the clutch laying next to the powerhead, the crank has broken at the end of the threaded section on the tapered shaft. Man i having serious thoughts about US820 quality this is my second let down with this powerhead recall previously it thrown a rod and now this.
The saw was used last Saturday at the saw races and it ran fine all i have done is disassemble the saw and brought it home and placed it on the workshop floor !
Anyone got a new Copperhead / Vintage tapered shaft crank for sale ?
