Re: Cad Kart
Doesn't look like a Cad-Cart. Cad-Cart had a much "pointier" seatback hoop. Also the frame ended in the open axle hangers. Cad-Cart had the steering hoop/upper frame bent from one piece of tube. This kart appears to have a short straight piece of tube at the point of the steering hoop. I may be fulla S***! Could be an earlier Cad-Cart than I'm familiar with. It looks more like a Gutknect Gopher kart from Nevada, Iowa.

Re: Cad Kart
I've never seen a Cad or a Gopher in person, but it has a interesting frame.

Re: Cad Kart
Our local kart shop, Wyatt Enterprises in Cocoa, FL, carried Cad-Cart for a while. I only ever saw one at the track. It had a somewhat high CG due to the suspended seat, and the driver seemed to feel insecure. It sure was nicely finished, though! Of course after Bug began building the "new" Cad, they were to be seen more often. The Gophers, being from the midwest, weren't to be seen in our area at all, but I remember thinking that they were interesting! Ted
