Good vids, Rob. Pop and I saw Cap'n Jack run the Turbonique a number of times at several Florida strips. I always wondered why there were engine sounds in the vids when he ran solo. We knew the Middlebrook guys a little, and Pop and I visited the Turbonique shop a couple of times. There were two full size carb in Brevard County that had the Turbonique rear axle combined with the original V8 engine up front. There was a Grand Prix and a Ford Galaxie. They ran pretty well for full size cars. We also saw the Sizzler Chevelle run at Valkaria Drag Strip, just South of where we lived in West Melbourne. Good memories.
