Re: 60's REAR engine kart in N J on ebay
Is it a very late 800, or is it a 1200 that someone added a poorly welded steel floorpan to? It has a swing mount, and, unless that was added, it means a 1200. It very obviously needs a front axle, bent and welded won't cut it. Ron Cubel can tell you who makes replacement front axles. Jack Canady can probably make one, or Joel Christians. Fixed up, it'd be a darn nice handling kart. Remember, there's not a lot of room between seatback and steering wheel! I ran both an 800 in '61, and a 1200 in '62. Two best driving REAR engine karts of their day. I restored a 1200 in 2006-2007 and found that I could not sit in the kart. TJ

Regarding the pulled posting on ebay;
