Re: Tilloston HL rebuild kits
Chris,
2 bucks.
Ebay # 391206808781
Thinking for this price its worth a shot. Will really monitor engine very closely on initial run.

Yeah, I just make sure to do a new kit before an event.
I also use gas with no alcohol. Widely available in Atlanta.
I used to run premium, but I think regular actually works better.
I probably shouldn't say that with Chris listening.

I think he was rubbin' a bit on his head last year at TBO
Re: Tilloston HL rebuild kits
Rebuild kits showed up today. Took about 2 weeks to get here which isn't too bad when you figure in free shipping. Don't be in a hurry and plan ahead is your best bet.
Each kit comes packaged in its own small zip lock bag.
The gaskets seem a little thin but the pumper, diaphragm, and all the other related parts look very nice and the fit and the finish of all the parts is very good. Main fuel needle appears to be rubber tipped, however did not need to use. It is nice to get the welch plug. Most of the time the low speed fuel passages are over looked during a rebuild because you do not have a replacement welch plug, this kit has cured that problem. After a actual look at these kits and a install I would say that they should work quite well however only a on track test will prove their worth.

NOTE TO ALL! THe rubber needle tip usually has a protecting coating on it. Use some fuel or WD40 & wipe it off on a rag until clean. Then set arm height and pop off.
