2 Ply VS 4 Ply Tires

Post by Timothy Klatte » Tue Jan 01, 2019 10:02 pm

I am looking for some 4.10/3.50 x 5 and 4.10/3.50 x 4 slicks-and I noticed that the 4 ply tires are a lot more expensive.. Can I use 2 ply for just general putting around and occasional racing (exhibition) on a track? Or is a 4 ply recommended? Thanks.

Tim,

Go 4 ply and get them from Azuza. Their prices are very reasonable.

I've had real good luck with the Cheng Shin 3.10-3.50 X 5's, and the narrow 4.10-3.50 X 4 Vintage Speed fronts. Azusa has a bunch of the narrow 3.40-3.00 X 5 Cheng fronts right now. Good price. TJ
