Looks like a Bug Sprint to me. Is the master cylinder tab original or added? The plastic wheels point to early 70's. Looks like a nice unmolested kart!

Kart is a Bug Sprint, mid to tale sixties. Others can pinpoint the year. Wheels are Nylites, original equipment to the kart. One of vintage karting's best handling karts. Engine is a Briggs and Stratton four cycle, not allowed in most vintage kart circles. Karts of this era had two cycles for racing. Find a nice McCulloch, Power Products, West Bend, Chrysler or Homelite two cycle, some skinny, hard tires in place of those wide monstrosities and go running. There are tons of photos out there of Bug Sprints for copying the upholstery at a good local shop. Bug built a reproduction of this kart in the 2000's. I had one, and liked it a lot. I will try to attach a picture of mine to show you the upholstery. Nice kart, aside from the roto tiller engine. Ted

Rear wheels may have spacers in them that can be taken out to narrow them as Ted suggested.

Thank you ted..
any suggestions where I might just purchase a seat like that "ready to go." The Snaps are all still there. The front tires look skinny enough and they're still in good shape being from the 60s. The back rims may have spacers under there I'll find out when I take off those wide Slick's to replace with the correct ones. I have a nice McCulloch out in the shop that's been totally rebuilt from bottom to top and back in the day performance parts. I'll throw a pic on here. Any advice is always appreciated and your expertise is great. I have quite a few projects but I think I'll be moving this one to the front of the pack. Thanks again. Mark
