Hello, I'm new to the forum and am looking for some help with parts. I picked up a MC49-C model#400160 Serial begins with 13. I'm looking for the following:
Recoil Starter- I've read that a recoil from a Mac450 chainsaw may work. Any insight would be appreciated.
Clutch
Engine Mount
Carb Kit or a Complete Carb Replacement. # on Carb is 68795.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Chris

Re: McCulloch MC49-C
Hello,
Thanks for the reply. The mount and carb are taken care of. Now basically just looking for a clutch. Horstman Rev Grip or Max Torque seem to be the popular brands. I'm looking for a 9 tooth 35 chain.
Thanks

Chris,
Both Horstman and Max-Torque are excellent units.
If you want a brand new clutch call Max-Torque and ask for Jim Donavan, he will get you hooked up clutch, nut and spacers.

Maybe some one will chime in with a Horstman for sale or watch ebay.
