Got a couple of leads. Sounds like plating plastic is almost more involved the metal.
Vacuum Orna-Metal and Chrome Tech USA are a couple were going to try.

Shipped some plastic parts off to Vacuum Orna Metal in Michigan and they returned yesterday.
If you ever need anything plastic plated or re-plated these folks are the go-to-guys. Very happy with the workmanship and the turnaround.

That is good information, but now I'm thinking of everything I could re-chrome.
All the 'chrome' on my 2002 Suburban could require a home equity loan!
