Terry- Possibly, but not sure. I never gutted any of these "unit" engines for the piston; just used those pistons that happened to be in rebuilt chain saw engines.
I'm told this piston is still a current Tecumseh part! It has a wide groove running down from each wrist pin hole- probably for better oiling. It is only 1 23/32" high, and 2.088 Dia, The only numbers in mine are- 5-0-69 and then 22 below them.
Hank pointed out that the wrist pin for this piston will only fit in these, as it's .5005 Dia. I'd buy a few more if I knew the actual part number
