Hey, Dave. Mine is a XP-1000/XP-1020 combination. Lots and lots of Dremel-ing and sawing to get the side cover/bar mount down to size. The side cover mounts to the saw with several #12-24 screws, but I added (2) 1/4-20 Helicoils. I also built the manifold for the Mikuni from scratch to accept the big Mac reed. Made the head shroud and side mount from scratch also. These engines are 100cc, and have large rectangular ports, but no boost ports. There is no kart clutch that'll fit, so you have to convert the saw clutch. Mine's still laying in the spare bedroom, and I need to get it on a kart! Ted

gear drive homelites mb4-1 ,mb,mb3,ect. ect ..all same block as kr and kl ...lotta work to machine a chainsaw block ..and then theres no material casted in block to drill holes for pto side mount ..just my opinion ..
