Azusa Starter
Would anyone have photos of the Azusa Kart Starter that came with turbine wheels? I would like to build one and all I can find is one pic from Tex Smith's book. Thanks, Ken

Re: Azusa Starter
Ken I have around 50 old catlogs just grabed 4 .wiseco 12-15 show starter without battery and with. great picture in comet 82 catalog (best picture) and russell around 78. all have wagon wheels not kart wheels. I would check with azusa but I think owners may have changed wheels . If you need me to send pictures pm me your address and I'll copy 82 comet pic. hope you have a tube bender . Jim
Re: Azusa Starter
Don't remember who but someone bought 20-50 starter karts a long time ago..... don't know if they ever got rid of them all.

Re: Azusa Starter
Rob, Seems there are still some of the Azusa start kart frames around. I was able to get one at a reasonable price. Other parts should be an easy find. Thanks guys for all your help. Ken

Re: Azusa Starter
Harley Davidson horn buttons fit the Azusa starter handles well.

Try Terry Ives, he had a few of the Azusa kart start frames a while back. 916-201-7707

Re: Azusa Starter
there is a photo of the Azusa starter in this article I wrote... I think it a simple frame made from one piece of bent tubing, and some cross pieces, plus 2 axles.
