Greg Gouveia at Greg's Speed Shop may have a new repop tank. Not cheap, but VERY nice goodies from Greg. Ted

he is out of those and says he needs to order 50 which he has no plans to do

so far one member has offered a painted one with repairs for 140 plus shipping .. i thought they were chrome ??

They were available chrome or plain & you painted them yourself. I kinda like the painted ones. Looks more vintage but it depends on what you are putting it on.

tank bolt pattern
I'm assuming i need a chilton tank. Maybe someone recognises the bolt pattern?

Sad reality is when your dealing with out of production items its a sellers market and sourcing parts can be expensive, time consuming, and a very frustrating thing.

If your planning on running your kart and not looking for that 100 point show winner to hang on the wall there are alternative routes. Margay seat back tanks are available and very affordable plus there are a host of other tanks out there that can be utilized.

Like we've always said, put it back on the track and "Run em the way they ran em"
