Simplex Challenger

WTB Thanks for the add..
Looking of for a Foot pad for a Simplex Challenger. Possibly some other parts as well. Can anyone tell exact year?
It does not have live axle. Looks to be original other than missing motor.

Tom Thorin in CA is the all knowing Simplex man. I have never seen a floor mat like that. Do you have a better picture?

The existing floor mat looks just like the original mats early Bug karts came with. Ted

Could that be a door mat for a house? Most mats were either very custom like the McCulloch karts with the emblem or ribbed floor runner like you see in stores.

Look at vintage car parts sites, especially those who carry parts for mid 1950's Buicks and Olsmobiles. That pedal pad is among those offered for about $15 a pop.

That's the standard mat that all our '58/'59 dead axle Bugs came with. We sold tons of these karts. I owned a '58 and a '59, and Pop had a '59 dual. Ted
