For sale 1968 Rupp J Kart Rolling Chassis

FOR SALE 1968 RUPP J KART ROLLING CHASSIS THAT HAS BEEN TORN DOWN AND REBUILT FROM THE FRAME UP. THE FRAME HAS BEEN STRENGTHENED IN THE REAR END WHERE THEY ARE COMMON TO BREAK AND HAS BEEN POWDER COATED TO MAINTAIN A FUEL RESISTANT FINISH. THE FRAME HAS ALSO BEEN MODIFIED SLIGHTLY TO BE RAN REAR ENGINE BUT IS ACTUALLY A FOREIGN ENGINE FRAME AND STILL RETAINS ALL OF THE ORIGINAL MOUNTING LOCATIONS. THE FACTORY RUBBER BUSHINGS HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH DELRIN BUSHINGS TO FIX THE PROBLEM WITH FLEX THEY HAD FROM THE FACTORY. KART HAS A PALMINI FLOOR MOUNT TANK. THE KART HAS HYDRAULIC BRAKES THAT HAVE BEEN REBUILT AND A CUSTOM MADE REAR UNI MOUNT TO BE USED WITH GEM SIDE ENGINE MOUNT PLATES. THE WHEELS ARE AZUSA TRI STAR WHEELS THAT HAVE BEEN BLASTED AND PAINTED WITH DUPLI-COLOR WHEEL PAINT. ALSO HAS A BRAND NEW PLEATED SEAT THAT WAS CUSTOM MADE FOR THE KART. THIS KART IS FULLY ADJUSTABLE. EVERYTHING ON THE KART IS NEW OR HAS BEEN REFURBISHED TO LOOK LIKE NEW. THIS KART WAS RAN AT THE BIG ONE IN FREEMONT, OHIO IN 2016 AND HANDLED VERY WELL.THE CART IS MADE TO BE RAN AND HAVE FUN WITH ITS NOT A FACTORY CORRECT RESTORATION AND IS NOT A SHOW KART BUT IS A VERY NICE KART. I AM ASKING $2500 OBO ON IT AND AM LOCATED IN GALION,OH BUT WOULD BE ABLE TO POSSIBLY HELP OUT OF MEETING AS LONG AS ITS NOT TOO FAR AWAY. CAN SEND OTHER PICS IF YOU SEND ME YOUR EMAIL. Here is a pic of the back of the kart. You can see where we welded the tube and flat gussets in to strengthen the frame where they are known to crack on the bottom of the frame. We also welded a brake mount on to mount the caliper. None of the modifications are drastic or ruin the look or function of the kart they improved the handling and strength of the frame. The back of the kart is the only place any welding was done the front has not been altered. Let me know if you want any other information and I can send you a pm.
