Hi All,
Will be spring soon I hope. Just outta the blue, do any of our members happen to have an extra Rathmann fuel tank laying around in their parts pile. I could really use one for an xterminator I am trying to restore. It does not have to be perfect I will work with whatever you have. Thanks for your help and see you in the spring. Also thinking about rebuilding Ron Cubels old xterminator website, is there any interest?

Mike,

There has to be a restoration or fab shop in Indy who can fix you up, if not start looking around the custom motorcycle web sites. Custom fuel tanks are the norm on a big end chopper. Not sure if hes still in the biz but call Jesse James or even Arlen Ness and ask for referrals. Elite Metal Designs is also builds custom tanks, google for contact

Ron Fornere (sp?) is in Michigan. He teaches schools in fab. Look up street rods, there are some guys that make a left fender by using the right fender.

Morning Rob,
I have been in contact with one of the motorcycle tank fabricators. Hopefully they will be able to do the job. Waiting for the cad work and prototype plastic tank to be completed. Will send that to them and see what happens. Wish me luck, I need (4) myself and several other friends need them.
