Bob Lapke's Vintage Karts & Parts

I will be listing most of Bob’s karts and parts over the next few months. I spent the after -noon with Bob one week before he passed and we discussed each kart and where he wanted it to go and what the selling price should be.
My plan is to bring three of Bob’s karts to Fremont. I don’t have pictures yet but wanted to list several karts to see if there is interest to determine what to bring. What doesn’t sell at Fremont will be at Quincy.
The terms of the sale will be cash or a USPS postal money order. I don’t want to get tied up in PayPal with money that belongs to Bob’s family.

1.1958 unrestored dual engine Go-Kart 400. Bob said that the dual engine kart with dual brakes is very unusual and rare. $1,000
2.Restored dual engine Go-Kart 400 with Clinton engines. $3,000 – If you’ve been in the vintage scene for any time you probably saw Bob drive this kart. It was one of his favorites.
3.Dual Invader with dual “B” Bombs. $9,000 – This kart is ready to run in the “C” Open class (Monster karts) now.
4.King Kart with dual Margay gearbox and dual 820 engines. $8,000 – Bob and I put on a show at Dousman a few years ago and the video is still on the VKA site. Bob also brought this kart to Fremont and put on a great drifting show that’s on video.
I will also have many tubs of parts, NOS tires, etc. at both TBO and Quincy to sell.
