Re: Rupp?
The www.vintagekarts.com site is more accomodating to this type of vehicle. REAR is associated with vintage rear engine American RACERS. TJ

Re: Rupp?
Yes, those actually look to be highly modified Rupp Monza Junior bodies - but for the purposes of the vintage karting hobby, they fall outside of the scope, which focuses on vintage racing karts - which the Monza Juniors never were. They were yard karts, never intended for the track and seemed to be if anything, more of a promotional tool as prizes for store contests and such. That's not to say that someone out there might be interested in these, as well as other yard karts. But that's pretty much different from what happens here.

Re: Rupp?
Rob ., do they have motors ..some did... but most ran off somethin in the middle of the ride like a merry go round .. there way heavier fiberglass than a monza i think ..?
Re: Rupp?
It says right in teh ad. They are carnival rides. The wheels are welded on so they go in a circle. Soem ran on a track & some had a bar attached that drug them.
After seeing some of you guys drive..... maybe a tow bar on your karts would not be such a bad idea now that I think about it!
